Any significant changes to the content or structure of the workshop must be approved by The Illuminated Entrepreneur in advance.
3. Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy: If a facilitator is unable to attend or deliver the workshop as agreed, the facilitator must notify The Illuminated Entrepreneur immediately. The facilitator will be held responsible for the following: If the facilitator backs out after the application has been approved, they will be expected to cover any associated costs (e.g., marketing materials, program adjustments. etc.) that have already been incurred by The Illuminated Entrepreneur. By agreeing to facilitate, the facilitator takes full responsibility for their commitment to the event and will make every reasonable effort to fulfill their obligations.
4. Communication & Commitment: Facilitators are expected to maintain open communication with The Illuminated Entrepreneur before, during, and after the event. This includes:
Providing all required materials (bio, photos, workshop descriptions, etc.) by the deadlines - TBD.
Responding to requests for coordination (e.g., timing, setup needs) in a timely manner.
Providing a complete outline of their workshop content for marketing purposes, to ensure it aligns with the event’s messaging.
Failure to meet deadlines or expectations may result in exclusion from the event and forfeiture of payment.
5. Respect for Other Facilitators & Attendees: Facilitators are expected to show respect for other presenters, attendees, and the overall flow of the event and should ensure their workshop does not disrupt the schedule or create logistical challenges for other presenters.
6. How We Use Your Application Copy: To ensure all summit materials are clear, engaging, and aligned with our ethos, we may edit your submitted copy (workshop title, description, bio, or offering) in the following ways:
Minor Rewrites: These are small, respectful adjustments made to help your message land more clearly with our audience. This might include tightening the language, simplifying sentences, adjusting tone to match the summit’s voice, ensuring keywords connect with our target market, or formatting the content to meet formatting requirements. The intention is never to change your meaning, only to make it easier for attendees to understand the value you’re offering at a glance.
Major Rewrites: Occasionally, a workshop title or description may need more substantial changes to align with our branding, audience expectations, formatting requirements, or the summit’s overall flow. Even in these cases, we keep the essence of your work intact — your core idea, approach, and promise remain yours. We simply shape the way it’s presented so it resonates more deeply with the people you most want to reach.
-If there are specific parts of your copy you would like to remain unchanged, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
-If after your copy is posted to the website and you’d like changes to your published copy, please provide notice at least two weeks before the event so we can accommodate updates.
7. Compensation & Payment: Payment will be provided based on the terms outlined in this facilitator agreement and will be processed within 10 days following the completion of the event. Compensation amount to be as mutually agreed upon during application process.
8. Liability & Insurance: The Illuminated Entrepreneur is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the facilitation of the workshop. Facilitators are required to hold their own liability insurance and should ensure that appropriate safety measures are taken during their workshops.

Any breach of these terms may result in removal from the event, forfeit of compensation, and potential exclusion from future events.
